Tokyo City View..

A trip to the Mori Art Museum at Roppongi Hills to see The Kaleidoscopic Eye exhibition didn't yield many photos of art (no cameras allowed), but, did give me an opportunity to revisit the vast expanse of urbania that Tokyo is. Tokyo City View wraps itself around the outside of the 45th floor of the iconic landmark, and as the haze that is so much a characteristic of Tokyo's summer has yet to really kick in, I was able to get some pics of the said megopolis..

Koji and Eiko by ~lumi-mae

I have gotten a bunch of hits from all over in the past 24 hours through a link to a pic on my site from a manga artist named Lumi-Mae. The artist submitted a pic for a contest on Deviant Art, and the setting of his/her pic was the staircase that joins NHK and Yoyogi parks, a regular haunt for us on weekends. Anyway, interesting and random, you can find my original post here, and here are both of the pics..

Umbrella Man!

Umbrella man, painting all that you can, Umbrella man...

This guy is great, he makes abandoned umbrellas into art and then sells them for a couple of bucks, awesome!
