Not sure what else you might call them, but one thing's for certain, these tricked-out bikes most cdertainly stuck out amongst the others parked at Yoyogi today..

A return to the Treasure Chest..

It was time for another little outing to the Treasure Chest, time to find a spot on that big wedge shaped bar and protect the drinks (and head) from flying heels. Mr Ono was in fine form, as was my favorite Rockin Jellybean painting, and er.. the hallway to the toilet!

Womb by night..

Womb rocks, no question, just probably best not to try and take a picture of the place at night (note darkened security guy approaching to deter intended photography).

By day, not so much of a problem..

Softbank 921SH

The beat up old 912 has gone the way of the dodo, that is, I finally bit the bullet and went and got a new phone. The handset of the 921SH is kinda like Softbank's attempt at an iPhone, with a full face screen and neat little touch sensor at the bottom. The touch sensor isn't at all as responsive as the the iPod touch, but it does the job well enough, the tv works great, and it looks way cool!

Thanks to McGizzle for takin these pics..

Come to my Party @ VRP 4

It's rad that we get to play with these guys so often these days. They opened up Valentine Records Presents vol.4 with their dance rock beats and post-Supercar cool..

Maruyamacho

Woke up in a new place this morning and took a walk. It amazed me how different a neighborhood just 4 blocks west of where I had been living for 5 years could be. Maybe it was the sunshine, maybe it was the fact that I had the day off, maybe maybe maybe... In any case, Maruyamacho is very cool, great pictures everywhere..

As an extra piece of useless information, Maruyamacho is a kind of old part of Shibuya, and is also where the main concentration of love hotels
are, so there are lots of happy couples, girls on a 'go to' mission, and enough dodgy lookin dudes an sharp black suits to make you realize that there is a whole lot of interesting stuff going down in this here hood..

Famous people buyin bootlegs..

Airs is a bootleg shop in Nishi Shinjuku, a 'must go to' for any serious music fan. From the pics that cover the walls throughout the store you can guess that some people may even end up buying their own work!
